I've always had an interest in geology but was never a serious collector, just picked up the odd piece here and there.
Weathered group of quartz crystals from a Cornish mine dump.
Nice quartz crystal geode, unknown provenance, bought at car boot sale.
Quartz & calcite geode from Somerset
Quartz geodes, Jasper vein in ORS lava & Agate nodules collected from rocks on the Ayrshire coast
One of nature's stranger rocks, flexible sandstone, this piece, probably originally from India, I found in a box of old tools at an autojumble!
Tectites - found at various sites around the world in several different forms, they are generally accepted as being derived from terrestrial debris ejected during meteorite impacts. These are Splash Form and probably from Thailand. I bought these at a rock shop in the USA.
